Ski, Board & Clothing Hire: Various ski hire shops in Grindelwald.  Intersport in Grund

Supermarkets:
Co-op in the town - past the bus station, keep on the left hand side, there is a pedestrian path with the BEKB bank on the right & shops on the left. Co-op is on the left.

Landi – from the apartment at the Rothenegg garage go down the hill. Follow the road past the station Grund, cross the railway track & continue straight. At the new bridge turn right you will see the Landi sign down the road on the right.

A lot of the shops close over lunchtime.

Good Café in town: Café Und Mehr – at far end of town – next to Eisenwaren on right hand side – just before you get to the Sunstar Hotel.

Best Pizza: Onkel Toms Hutte – at far end of town – past the Sunstar Hotel, opposite Latinos restaurant. Very small restaurant - you cannot book.

Good Restaurant: ‘Barrys’ in Hotel Eiger in centre of town on left hand side. Downstairs the Memory restaurant is nice (but cannot book this one) less choice than Barrys.

Good restaurant on the mountain: Restaurant Bahnhof Kleine Scheidegg - Röstizzeria Mannlichen
Try the Hoppla Boppla for a great shared meal
